We ordered this fryer on July 14th and received it five days later (free shipping). We have used this fryer just about everyday since. Fried okra, cheese sticks, onion rings just to mention a few things that we have cooked in this unit. I did a lot or research before ordering this particular unit. We like the fact that just about everything can be hand washed. Empty the oil out of the unit and the oil tub lifts out for cleaning. The baskets can be washed in the dishwasher and even the heating element can be hand washed. The unit comes with two small baskets and one large basket. Great for cooking two different foods at one time. Contrary to what some other reviews say, the digital controls were easy to use. Read the manual first and learn how to set the temperature and time. Maybe some people have an ESO problem. (Equipment Smarter than Operator) We had a Fry Daddy prior to buying this unit. The food just seems to taste better after frying in this unit. The fried okra was crispier. Order this unit if you are in the market for a fryer. With free shipping, I feel this item is a steal.

Ive had two fryers before this one but never had one with a double basket and two smaller ones it is really great almost like having a little diner in you home. Makes plenty of fries, Works perfect. Tom

since we received it, we used it amny times already for chickenwings, french fries and everything else we can think of that you can deepfry. Its easy to use and even more important, easy to clean, couldnt do without it anymore. Even the kids visit more since they know we can fry our own fries

We have used this for several weeks now, and it does what it is suppose to do. The temperature is consistent. Particularly important, it is easy to clean. It is large enough to handle the needs of six hungry people quite easily. The plug at the rear of the fryer is connected by a magnet. Pretty clever as it offers some safety from careless handling. Very pleased with this purchase.

It is July 2010. We bought this fryer in 2009 and have to replace it already. It was used about once a month or more for deep frying wings, fish, chicken parts, etc. Unfortunately, the fryer started to overflow which we thought was our fault. Then we found the temperature was way off. Eventually, oil was able to get into the control housing and that is the end of that. It's dead. It's a disappointment in that we enjoyed the fryer in the beginning and it was an upgrade from a cheaper plastic-cased fryer. Funny, the cheaper fryer just finally was so gunked up from use, it was impossible to keep it looking remotely clean, but it never died like this one. We are not necessarily beginners for frying and maybe everything that went wrong is our fault, but we will not buy another one of these fryers.

They appear to be taller and a bit more sturdy. That is all. I use the Bunn 10 cup home model. Great machine/coffee. They are not only difficult to find but Amazon has it for too much. I was buying them at Walmart (hate going there) for - 1.19. Now it appears they may be discontinue carrying them. At least at the Walmart near my home. Lowes (home improvement) has them for 2.26 in the store. Bunn has it at their on line store. 10.+ for 1,000...but 7+ for shipping. **** 4 star because Bunn makes it difficult to purchase. Update... on July 7 I purchased 3 boxes at Walmart (cary, NC) for 97 cents each. Hello Amazon!

I don't see that much of a difference between the Bunn filters and the regular size filters I bought at the grocery store. They are a little taller and there's slightly less overflow of the coffee grounds. My husband, who makes the coffee more often than I do, likes these a lot better than the regular brand so we'll probably continue to purchase.

Got a great Bunn coffee maker. Looked inside to see what kind of filter they said to use. They didn't say what size on the box, in the manual, or even on the pack of filters. Very confusing. Went to Sam's to buy the filters, and saw that they sold some that supposedly fit Bunn coffee makers. Started to get them, but fortunately had taken in the pack that came with the coffee maker. I could see that they were not the same size. I was confused, but did not buy at Sam's. Looked on Amazon, and was still confused, because many were sold for Bunn. Decided to get these because they came in a box clearly marked as Bunn filters. Finally, I lucked out. These are the right ones. By the way, the coffee from the Bunn coffee maker really does taste better. Best I've ever had at home.

If you have a BUNN you know how hard it is to find the right fitting filter, especially if you run out of these. The generic ones are usually too big or too small and finding this particular filter in my local stores has been very difficult. On the rare occaision I do find them, they are over $5 a box! Being able to purchase them here on Amazon has made it much easier to keep them in stock. When I see that I'm running low I just add a box on to my current order. Currently being used with the Bunn A10 Pour-O-Matic Coffee Brewer.

It is hard to find the coffee filters that fit the Bunn coffee makers. So the quick and great priced supply available is great - thanks

We have been through about 3 or 4 deep fryers over the years and was hoping for one to last for some time. The last one we had worked wonders but was hard to clean and only lasted three years with only one or two usages per month. No spare parts were available for a repair. I searched around for our next one and saw some that had fancy extras like fans and even one with the ability to clean oil. All these extras were just something else to go wrong and jack the price up. We also wanted a large deep fryer so that was a need to look at also. I went with a Presto since they have been making deep fryers for quite some time. I did not particularly care for the two baskets, but Presto carries the large basket for purchase which I have bought even though I kind of like the two baskets now. I find this deep fryer heats up quickly and recovers pretty fast between fry batches. It cleans up quickly and holds quite a bit of food. The gauge of the metal is not as thick as some may wish for, but it is sufficient for it's purpose. I just hope it will last for many more years than our other deep fryers.

I was disappointed with the fact that the unit was overall very lightweight and flimsy. The concept of two backets was nice but there was no way to cover the baskets during frying, so there was no protection from splattering, etc. I returned the item and bought an Oster brand.

This is not as easy as they say it is on TV. Its alot of work. Not worth it. Don't buy the product. Trust me..

Replace similar item that we liked. Odered 8 June in the afternoon. Price was right with no shipping cost. Received Thursday afternoon. Sweet

I saw another reviewer on here mention how he modded his deep fryer and I decided to do the same right out the box. The temperature sensors on this unit are connected by a small metal bracket to the heating element. From what this reviewer suggests, I'm guessing that the bracket channels heat into the sensors and artificially makes the fryer think that the oil is hot enough, when in fact it's the heating element that is. Taking his word for it, I decided to remove the bracket and had awesome results. If you're considering getting this fryer, don't let all of this technical stuff scare you, though. It's really just as simple as taking out two easily-accessible screws. Don't think you'll have to pull some Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor hackjob on your fryer. As for the cooking experience, this thing takes a lot of oil. Seeing the fill line when I first opened it, I remember thinking, "That's not too bad." Wait 'til you get pouring, though. I'd say this thing used up about 80-90% of a 1.25 gallon jug of oil. I normally like using fresh oil whenever I fry, but I don't imagine that becoming too much of a habit with this fryer. Not a big deal, though. Cooking with it was fast and easy. After pan-frying for so many years, it was a relief to not have to worry about flipping anything, running out of room in the pan, or grease popping everywhere. Just fill up the nice-sized baskets, drop 'em in and kick back. If you have a large family, this fryer is a must-have. I'd estimate that it cut my time in the kitchen down by half (and that's being modest). So far, I've only used it to fry a few big batches of chicken. The results? Some of the best I've fried in years. Crispy on the outside, not greasy at all on the inside. I've read some complaints about the smell of food lingering after you cook. Umm...Duh? There doesn't seem to be anything abnormal about it in my case. No more long-lasting than when I cook anything else. I don't know if these people just wanted the smell gone altogether or what, but aromas for a few hours are just something that I generally expect from a kitchen. My only issue is that I wish it also came with one big basket. In the manual, they kind of slap in you in the face by advertising the big basket for an additional $12. I think I'd have felt better if there were no big basket at all. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend this product. I'm very pleased so far.

It seems that Amazon gave the company the billing address instead of the shipping address so unfortunately the basket was sent to me instead of the intended party. This was a bit upsetting because now i have to deliver it myself. The company called me when they saw that i was unhappy and made it right. Their customer service is great and they really care about their customers. Even though there was an error with the address i was happy with the product and company and i will definetly order though them again. Currently the company is working with Amazon to correct the problem with the shipping address. I would contact the company to order the product to make sure that they get the correct information and this way it will be shipped faster too.

As the title states, they have doen a wonderful job of making this seaweed taste wonderful. It is not too salty and flavored just right. I was surprised at how little comes for this price. I understood that it would be snack packs, but I expected there to be larger volume for this price.

Very simple to set-up and takes advantage of space in your tent that you wouldn't be able to use otherwise. A little organization/convenience goes a long way when camping and this thing offers both for a reasonable price.

This is a great product and is super easy to assemble. I will use it for my clothing while camping and I could even put my portable DVD player on the one shelf. I "practiced" with this quickly and it held a radio on the top shelf and a cup of coffee on the middle one. Very nice item, sturdy and well worth the cost.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because I wish I had a bigger tent! This handy organizer takes up quite a bit more room than you would expect, and if you are just using a smaller 2 or 3 person tent, I would not recommend taking this with you on a camping trip.

much larger than i'd expected. holds all the little things i'd hoped to organize. very nice product, good quality for the price. compact and easy to use and store.

I have boys ages 5 and 6 and I thought this might be too young for them-- not so! they really loved this book! It's very interactive. I gave this to them for Easter and we are going to go on a picnic with their stuffed animals. highly recommend!
